Sheared an optic screw? Stop there — don’t drill it or use an easy-out. That’s what ruins most slides.
We’ve been extracting broken and stripped optic screws for years, and our success rate is hard to beat. If the threads are already damaged, we can often re-tap them for a larger screw so your optic still mounts. If earlier attempts already destroyed the posts or threads, the slide may not be salvageable — we’ll tell you before charging for work we can’t do.
