At Deus Vult Armory, every firearm we work on is treated with the highest quality of care and attention to detail. With years of gunsmithing experience and running our own rifles hard, we understand the importance of optimizing and properly setting up your firearms.
Our Roots
Deus Vult Defense began with a passion for testing and improving our own firearms, and a commitment to quality craftsmanship in every build. We have worked on thousands of firearms as career gunsmiths, competed in USPSA, consistently trained every week for the better part of a decade, and have been passionate about the Second Amendment our entire lives. We are serious about the defense of our faith, our families, and our freedoms, and we believe that was the founding fathers’ intent with the Second Amendment.
Our Craft
We specialize in duty and competition rifles and handguns. Our main squeeze is AR15's and Glocks, but we have worked on mostly every other platform on the market. There has never been a problem that we could not fix. No matter if you want a rifle built for competitions, clone your favorite GWOT rifle, or a rifle you could to go to war with, we guarantee that we will give you nothing but the highest attention to detail, and the best product recommendations.
What does Deus Vult Mean?
Deus Vult is Latin, and it translates to “God Wills It”. This phrase was historically a battle cry for Christian warriors during the First Crusade. We believe that men of God should be warriors who seek God first in all of their battles, physically and spiritually. The inability to cause harm does not imply that someone is a good person. We should be strong and capable men who are peacemakers. Our primary reference is from Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount: “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.” Matthew 5:9 (ESV). The term peacemaker in Greek refers to someone who actively works to solve conflicts, and does not avoid them. Be a peacemaker and train hard so that you can provide protection and security for you, your loved ones, your country, and your beliefs. We believe that protection and security falls under the responsibility of the men of the household, and God calls us to provide. “But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever” 1 Timothy 5:8 (ESV).
