General Gunsmithing
We have done tons of specialty and niche gunsmithing, but we have never stepped away from our roots of fixing friends’ and family members’ firearms. We can perform any repair work, from troubleshooting and parts replacement to polishing, tuning, parts installation, or reassembling a complicated firearm that you can’t get back together. If you have something out of the ordinary or have a question, please email us, and we will let you know what we can do!
Repairs
Repair Work: $80 per hour.
Repairs are one of the most significant aspects of gunsmithing. We pride ourselves with always being able to find a solution to a problem. From damaged projects, to butchered modifications, we have seen it all. Email us for an estimated quote.
*Repair work can vary dramatically, so we have set a middle of the road labor price. Repair work can require part replacement and custom modifications, so it would be inaccurate to provide a general price across all projects.
Part Installation and Tuning
Part Installation and Tuning: $40-250
Many companies offer part kits, trigger packages, and difficult-to-install parts. If you are tired of fumbling around with poor instructions and tutorials, send your project to us!
*Part installation can vary dramatically, and can require hours of fitting depending on the job. Please email us for a specified quote
Cleaning
Cleaning: $60-$120
Rarely do gun owners enjoy completely stripping their firearms down and scrubbing every part to make sure that it performs when you need it to. Whether you are a competitive shooter preparing for a new season, a duck hunter preparing for opening day, or a PRS shooter who needs to stack rounds everytime, we have you covered. We use all of the right equipment like ultrasonic cleaners, borescope cameras to inspect barrel fowling, and the correct solvents to provide you exactly what you need.
Reassembling
Reassembly: $40-$80
Are you tired of struggling to put that firearm back together that looked way easier on the Youtube video you watched? We have experienced the same struggles ourselves, and have since made a career out of taking firearms apart and putting them back together. Send your project to us if you are ready to have your firearm back up and running
Troubleshooting
Troubleshooting: $60 per half hour
Experiencing malfunctions with a project of yours? We have seen it all, and we are confident in our ability to find, and solve the problem. Whether modifications are necessary or parts need to be replaced, we have you covered
*If parts are needed, those will be added to the cost of the project
Part Removal
Part Removal: $60-$150
Shotgun chokes get stuck, manufacturers pin unwanted muzzle devices, and sometimes the wrong-sized punch gets hammered in. We have experience, equipment, and tools that most do not have access to. Send that project over to us to prevent permanent damage to your firearm.
*Projects in this category can take time, parts, and equipment. Prices can vary depending on time and resources used
AR Platform
AR15s are our bread and butter. We have never built a rifle that was not reliable, consistent, and long lasting. We double check everything we do. We perform gas key inspections, bore scoping barrels to check gas block alignment, proper torque application with high-quality tools, ensure proper buffer tube alignment, ensure proper barrel-to-upper receiver alignment, castle nut staking, grease between alloy and metal contacting threads, head-space gauging, upper receiver bedding, and we provide optional witness markings for exposed hand guard bolts.
Professional Rifle Assembly
Professional Rifle Assembly: $250
AR15’s can be put together incorrectly in so many different ways. Most mid-tier and budget-tier rifle manufacturers get it wrong, and their employees legitimately build them for a living. We have seen all of the wrong ways of doing things, but more importantly, we know all of the right ways to do things. From armorers courses, to building thousands of rifles, we know all of the crucial steps to ensure that your rifle works every time that you need it.
Here are the services included in our work:
- Proper torque specs, including counter torque specs on carrier keys and essential parts
- Borescope checked gas block alignment
- Head space gauging
- Grease and lubricant in the proper areas
- Staking where needed
- Optional test firing for optimal bolt speed and reliability ($20)
- Optional witness marks on essential screws (No charge)
- Muzzle device timing and installation ($15)
- Complete function checklist to ensure proper installation
*If parts are defective or need replacing, the client will be contacted with recommended options
Gas Reworks Package
Gas Reworks Package: $225-$250
The downfall of the majority of AR15s is the carbine gas system. It all starts in the gas port diameter and dwell time, but we can control the end-user experience with the gas reworks package. The intermediate buffer system is the current reigning champ of the AR15 world, and we are firm believers that this is the best way to optimize your rifle. Whether you are running a suppressor, a forced reset trigger, or both, this kit will revolutionize your shooting experience.
- Intermediate buffer system (BCM Mk2 or SOLGW A5 system)
- Proper greasing, staking, and installation
- Test firing with the suppressor and ammo that you use, for optimal bolt speed, reliability, and minimal recoil
- The exact needed buffer weight so you do not have to spend $300 testing them all.
*Pricing can vary due to increased of buffer pricing. Tungsten is used for the weights, and the US imports it.
Adjustable Gas Reworks Package
Adjustable Gas Reworks Package: $475-$500
All of the fantastic upgrades of the original Gas Reworks Package, plus an adjustable gas block with settings tuned for your rifle, suppressed and unsuppressed. If you are running a traditional or full back-pressured suppressor, you need your rifle to perform optimally with and without your suppressor. Forced Reset Triggers have amplified this problem even more, causing massive RPM(Rounds per minute) changes, leading to a completely different performance with or without a can. If you want the ability to remove your can without a grease gun cyclic rate, or to be able to switch from subsonic to supersonic 300BLK without being gassed out, this package is essential.
- Intermediate buffer system (BCM Mk2 or SOLGW A5 system)
- Riflespeed adjustable gas block
- Witness marking for suppressed and unsuppressed us.
Barrel Bedding
Barrel Bedding: $50
Barrel bedding has been common practice in the precision bolt-action rifle game for a long time, but it is rarely used in AR15s. If you want to squeeze every bit of accuracy out of your rifle, barrel bedding is a solid addition to your build. If your upper receiver was perfectly machined or forged, then this is not necessary. But if you are like the rest of the 99% of people that don’t have a perfect upper, this modification will provide you with the best mating surfaces between your barrel and upper. Increasing accuracy for those 300 yard+ shots, to make sure your rifle can put rounds precisely where they need to go.
Front Sight Block Delete
Front Sight Block Delete: $60-$100
Factory fixed front sights can be a problem for clients that want to use scopes, or shooters who want the largest view through their optic possible. Unfortunately, they can be a pain to remove yourself. Send that project over to us, and we will install your new handguard free of charge!
*Pricing can vary depending on the time it takes to remove the block
Sights and optics
Proper mounting of your sights and optics will dictate the performance of your shooting across all platforms from subcompact handguns, to precision gas guns. If you want to ensure that your performance is not hindered by improper torque, incorrect loctite usage, or an incorrect leveling of a scope, let us install the sights or optic for you. We can ensure that your optic is mounted exactly as it is supposed to be. Witness marks are also available for screws and bolts, and bore sighting is included in all optic installations.
Mounting and Leveling Scopes
Mounting and Leveling Scopes: $100
Properly mounting and leveling scopes without the correct equipment and experience can be difficult. Without a proper level, your hold over and BDC reticles become ineffective out at distance. Incorrect torque specs can also damage scopes, void warranties, and come loose during live fire. It is of the utmost importance that your scope functions as it is supposed to, or you would be better off with no scope at all. Here are the procedure we use to ensure optimal performance:
- Manufacturer’s recommend torque specifications
- Appropriate Loctite when needed
- Meticulous leveling of the rifle, then the scope to the rifle
- Optional witness marks (No Charge)
*We will not mount scopes in poor quality rings or mounts. If subpar parts are sent with the scope, we will recommend better ones, and can provide them.
Mounting Rifle Red Dots
Mounting Rifle Red Dots: $30
Mounting rifle red dots is simple, but can be done improperly. Mounts and risers can be insufficiently torqued from the manufacturer, and we will double-check that for you. Here is what is included:
- Thorough inspection and counter-torque screws
- Appropriate Loctite when needed
- Manufacturer recommended torque specifications
- Optional witness marks (No Charge)
Mounting Handgun Optics
Mounting Handgun Optics: $30
If you have ever had a red dot fly off of your pistol and hit you in the face at the range, you are not alone. We have mounted thousands of handgun optics, and we know what to do, what to look for, and the common mistakes that can ruin your trust in your optic. Here are the services offered:
- Optic plate/mounting inspection to ensure proper fitment
- Acetone application and degreasing of the optic and plate screws
- Appropriate Loctite when needed
- Manufacturer recommended torque specifications
- Post installation inspection
*If the optic plate supplied is subpar, we will recommend and can provide high-quality optic plates. The mounting is only as efficient as the plate it is mounted on
Handgun Iron Sight Installation
Handgun Iron Sight Installation: $40
Sight pushers, hours of fitting dovetails, and damage to sights and slides can all be avoided. We have installed thousands of handgun iron sights and know the correct way to ensure the best fitment and sight alignment. Fitting sights is straightforward if you have the proper method and experience, so let us handle it for you.
Optic Screw Extraction
Optic Screw Extraction: $75
The all too familiar feeling of breaking off the head of an optic screw is sickening. We have seen too much torque, overuse of optic screws, and optics shear off screws during live fire. All of these problems can be prevented by correct installation and reputable optic plate brands, but things happen. We have extracted optic screws for years, and the first thing that you need to know is that the slide is not always salvageable if improper methods were used in an attempt to remove the screw. We are successful a vast majority of the time as long as it was not damaged before we received it, but you will be hard-pressed to find someone who will provide you with the same success rate as ours. If threads are damaged, it is possible to rebore the slide to accept larger screws in some cases
*The charge will be applied even if the threads are damaged prior to us receiving the slide to make up for our time spent on the project.
Live Fire Zeroing
Live Fire Zeroing: $30+
If you don’t want to waste ammo and fool around attempting to zero your rifle or pistol, we will take care of it for you. We have a range that goes out to 300 yards, so we can zero anything needed. Pricing varies on the cost of ammo, which can be very cheap or very expensive. Here are the zeros we offer:
Rifles
- 25 yard zero
- 36 yard zero
- 50 yard zero
- 100 yard zero
Handguns
- 7 yard zero
- 10 yard zero
- 15 yard zero
- 20 yard zero
Super Safety/FRT
FRTs are notorious for requiring fitting, tuning of the gas systems, and inconsistent performance. It is not their fault, tolerance stacking is a real pain in the rear, and over-sizing these parts is the best way to go for them to work in the most rifles. We have tested, trained with, and tuned up almost every FRT on the market. Sometimes you need to try multiple buffers, adjustable gas blocks, barrel replacements, and more just to achieve a controllable cyclic rate to run your rifle effeciently. Instead of spending hundreds of dollars on extra parts that you don’t end of needing, let us perform the proper tuning and only pay for the parts you need.
AS Designs Arc Fire V2
AS Designs Arc Fire V2: $300
This is the top-of-the-line and hottest FRT on the market. The ARC fire is our top recommendation for someone serious about FRTs. They can require massive amounts of fitting and tuning just like the rest of the current FRTs. Here is what we provide:
- AS Design ARC Fire V2 (Single side or Ambidextrious)
- Mil-spec trigger
- Fitting, tuning, and function checks
- Test firing
- Optional upgrade to a Geissele SSA trigger ($200)
*If the rifle produces bolt bounce (Most rifles do), we will tune your buffer system and charge you for the appropriate buffer weight and spring required for proper function: $30-$70
Atrius Forced Reset Selector
Atrius Forced Reset Selector: $275-$300
The Forced Reset Selector is our second favorite FRT, only because you are limited to mil-spec triggers (Not for long supposedly). The best part about the FRS is the price tag and maintaining a traditional 3-position safety. Here is what we provide:
- Atrius Forced Reset Selector (single side or ambidextrous +$25)
- Fitting, tuning, and function checks
- Test firing
*If the rifle produces bolt bounce (Most rifles do), we will tune your buffer system and charge you for the appropriate buffer weight and spring required for proper function: $30-$70
AR15 Super Safety
AR15 Super Safety: $200
The OG of the affordable FRTs, this system has been used in the most amount of builds and internet videos due to its fantastic price tag. The SS cross bolt safety design can take some dryfire and reps to get used to, but it can be very effective. Here is what we include:
- AS Designs Super Safety
- Mil-spec trigger
- Fitting, tuning, and function checks

*If the rifle produces bolt bounce (Most rifles do), we will tune your buffer system and charge you for the appropriate buffer weight and spring required for proper function: $30-$70
AR9 Super Safety
AR9 Super Safety: $325
Just like the AR15 SS, the AR9 is an absolute blast, and doesn’t break the bank. Not only are the parts cost-effective, but so is the ammo. These require more fitting and parts to get running due to bolt bounce. To make these projects run, we almost always have to included extra heavy buffers and buffer springs therefore we include it in the price upfront. Here is what we provide:
- AS Designs Super Safety
- Mil-spec trigger
- Extra heavy buffer
- Extra heavy buffer spring
- AR9 Bolt carrier modifications
- Fitting, tuning, and function checks
- Test firing
- Optional upgrade to a Geissele SSA trigger ($200)
AR10 Super Safety
AR10 Super Safety: $300
For those who dream of a 240B, but don’t have 10 million dollars in the bank, this is what we have to offer. AR10s are notorious for being proprietary, so we cannot guarantee that your AR10 can be converted, but we have had success with some. Specifically the DPMS LR-308 pattern rifles (PSA PA10, Aero M5, Diamondback DB10, etc.) have available super safeties, but they can require substantial fitting. Here is what we offer:
- Grey Market Research LR-308 Super Safety
- Mil-spec trigger
- AR10 bolt carrier modifications
- AR10 Upper receiver modifications
- Fitting, tuning, and function checks
- Test Firing
- Optional upgrade to a Geissele SSA trigger ($200)
*If the rifle produces bolt bounce (Most rifles do), we will tune your buffer system and charge you for the appropriate buffer weight and spring required for proper function: $30-$70
TX22 FRT
TX22 FRT: $100
For some of the cheapest fun you can have on the planet, the TX22 FRTs are hard to beat. It is hard to shoot this build without smiling. Just like any other rimfire, they can have some weird quirks and malfunctions, but they are the best range toy. Here is what we provide:
- Freedom Fingers FRT
- Fitting and function checks
- Test firing
Glock Services
We have had our hands on most pistols on the market, but it is no question that the Glock pistols are extremely reliable, they have the widest aftermarket support, and they are the most common pistol to see on someone in the line of duty’s hip. We have had more than 50,000 rounds on the gen 5 pistols in the last 3 years, and we have found what we believe to be the most reliable trigger job. Our work maintains all of the factory drop safeties, while significantly improving your shooting performance. We tune these Glocks out with duty-appropriate ignition and trigger pull weights.
Gen 5 Glock Trigger Performance Package
Gen 5 Glock Trigger Performance Package: $225
This trigger job is Deus Vult Armory’s spin on a reliable Glock trigger job. There is nothing worse than making a Glock unreliable, which defeats the entire purpose of using it in the first place. We have 40,000+ rounds down range with this trigger job with no malfunctions or problems. 3.5lb to 4lb trigger pulls, duty grade ignition, a clean break, and a fast and tactile reset. Everyone that we have ever let pull our triggers falls in love, and immediately want theirs to feel like it. Here is what we provide:
- Glock Performance Trigger
- Striker spring
- Minus connector
- Fitting, tuning, and polishing
- Trigger pulls gauged
- Ignition tests
Stippling by Hand
Stippling by Hand: $250
We include stippling all the way around the grip, a single undercut of the trigger guard, gas pedal stippling, and stippling under the trigger guard. More aggressive and longer-lasting than laser stippling to keep your grip under recoil. Hand stippling will never be perfectly uniform, but we know how to make straight borders and a fantastic texture that holds on to you.
Restoration
From your grandpa’s old Browning A5, to removing the last 4 spray paint jobs on your AR15, we can tackle the project. Restoration in nature varies significantly from project to project, but you can always contact us if you are interested in a quote. We have done it all from 1890’s Spanish imported double barreled shotguns, to victory model S&W model 10’s. We are also guilty of having 15 coats of rattle can on a rifle, and have had experiment to find the best way to restore its black rifle look.
General Restoration
General Restoration: $100 per hour
This is a very broad category of work, so to put it simply, we can re-blue old shotguns, metal work on dinged-up slides and receivers, fix up your grandpa’s old SW Model 10, or remove rust from a firearm left out in the car too long. Please email us with pictures of the project you would like for us to restore, and we will give you a quote.
Spray Paint Removal
Spray Paint Removal: $40+
We love a spray painted “Go to War” rifle as much as anyone else, but it is hard to beat the good ole black rifle look. And what a pain it is when you decide to switch optics, handguard, or just want it to go back to normal. If you would like to return the natural beauty of your firearm, we can remove those old layers of spray paint for you. Prices can vary dramatically, this can be a very time-consuming task to handle, so please email us for a quote.
